Bama Baroque fills a critical gap in Alabama’s cultural landscape by presenting more professional, historically-informed performances of early music to statewide audiences.
How You Can Support Bama Baroque
-

Make a Financial Contribution
Every Bama Baroque performance begins with a community of supporters who believe that our mission and our music matters. Donations of any size help us bring artists together, create memorable performances, and share early music with audiences across our region and state. As a registered nonprofit, we rely on your generosity, and 100% of every gift directly supports our musicians, performances, and outreach.
You can donate online by clicking the “Donate Now” button below, or contact us to arrange an offline contribution.
-

Attend & Share Our Events
Join us at concerts! Invite family and friends, and help spread the word about early music in Alabama. Sharing our events with your networks and on social media also helps us reach new audiences statewide.
If you know a venue, school, festival, or organization that might enjoy early music programming, introductions are also incredibly helpful.
Your presence strengthens the arts in Alabama (and we are always happy to see you!).

Volunteer With Us
We welcome volunteers who can assist with:
-Front of house (greeting, programs, ushering)
-Photography or videography
-Social media help
-Event setup and breakdown
-Grant research or administrative support
If you have a talent you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you.
-

Provide Southern Hospitality
Bama Baroque wouldn’t exist without both local and visiting artists, and a little of that famous Alabama hospitality can go a long way in supporting them! If you’re willing to:
-Host a guest musician for a short stay
-Provide a meal to hardworking personnel during concert week
-Offer airport transportation or local recommendations
-Provide/loan or assist with appropriate seasonal greenery or décor for our performance spaces when needed
-or support us in your own way,
we’d love to hear from you!
-

Make an In-Kind Donation
Local businesses and individuals alike can contribute in many helpful ways that are non-monetary, such as:
-Providing rehearsal or performance spaces and venues
-Donating refreshments for events
-Loaning equipment (music stands, lighting, audio, etc.)
-Offering printing, design, or promotional services
If you have a service or item(s) you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you.

Host a House Concert or Community Event
Intimate, collaborative venues are at the heart of early music. If you’re considering hosting a small concert, workshop, or gathering in your home, church, business, or community space, we’d be delighted to learn more. (We’re an especially good fit for pubs & taverns, historic homes, senior centers, libraries, museums, and coffee shops!)
